Adult & Tot Live Animal Class

Our classes are available for children between the ages of 2 to 5 year. Children must be accompanied by an adult. We currently facilitate our exciting hands-on and informative classes at several different facilities through our partners (see below).

Each class will introduce your child(ren) to the wonderful world of the Whimz Animals. This includes hands-on interaction with the animals, as well as movement, story telling, crafts and songs. Children will meet 3 to 4 different animals each week. In addition to learning how to hold these animals, the participants will learn about the animals in their natural habitat and in captivity. All activities throughout the class flows from the animals being shown on that day. The children will also take home a craft project each week, based on one of those animals.

The Live Animal and Adult & Tot classes are very vibrant programs that encourages gentleness and understanding of animals, plus gives your kids room to move and groove!

		Since 2008, Whimz has visited our Nursery School every Wednesday afternoon. Our students enjoy the "cuddle factor" but also learn where these animals would live in the nature. Whimz instructors present various themes each week, so children can learn about the defense mechanisms small animals have, what sounds they make, how they move, what they eat etc. Every animal is beautifully cared for and lovingly named, so our preschoolers are delighted to make friends with them.
