Banbury Kids Camp
Banbury Kids Camp is centrally located at Banbury Community Centre. Their rustic setting, surrounded by scenic wooded parkland, a river with ducks, four tennis courts, two playgrounds, a giant sandbox, and a playing field, ideal for a day camp.
Banbury Kids is a nonprofit summer program that was started by a volunteer parent committee in affiliation with North York Parks and Recreation. They offer a unique summer program for children ages 3 to 7. Their goal is for campers to enjoy a wonderful, fun-filled experience in a caring, enthusiastic and creative environment. A low camper/counselor ratio helps each child feel comfortable and secure whether it is their first camp experience or not. The camp staff is comprised of teachers, early childhood education teachers, student teachers, education and early childhood education students, experienced counselors and counselors in training.
Activities include: music, kids fitness, hiking, science and nature, cooking, arts and crafts, parachute games, sports, theme days, puppet shows, drama, creative movement, sport ball, swimming, tennis, dance, pizza lunches and much, much more.

"Whimz is a fabulous program that is looked forward to by
both the campers and the counselors alike. It is a fun,
interactive program that brings real excitement to the
children. The Whimz staff are wonderful, patient and very
knowledgeable, and transfer their enthusiasm to all the
group no matter what their age. The children are thrilled
to be able to hold and touch the animals. This is one
special event that is anticipated by all! "Fabulous",
"Great", "Cool", "Dynamite" and "Exciting" are just some of
the words the campers use to describe Whimz. Our summer
